Letchworth State Park
We stopped in Letchworth State Park on our way back from the Harley Davidson 105th birthday party. It is known as the Grand Canyon of the east and is located in east central New York.

Harley Davidson 105th Anniversary Party
The Harley Davidson 105th birthday party was held at the Summerfest Fairground in downtown Milwaukee on the Friday and Saturday. We took the shuttle to and from Hog Haven to the party. There were five sound stages and way too many groups that we wanted to see. The hard part was deciding who to see and getting there early enough to get a seat. There was a women's motorcycling area there that Liz went to and learned about different aspects of motorcycling topics of interest to women.

HOG 25th Anniversary Party
The HOG 25th anniversary party was in the parking lot of Miller Stadium in Milwaukee. We got there early hoping to get in before the big crowds arrived, but they wouldn't let anyone in until 11AM. We saw Joan Jett and a couple of other bands throughout the day and left to return to Hog Haven about 5PM. Liz bought two Harley inspired Longaberger baskets in the vendor area.

Fourth of July Camping Trip
We met some friends for camping during the fourth of July weekend. We camped in central PA around Hamburg and made a shopping trip to Cabelas. The high point of this weekend was playing Hillbilly Golf and seeing an RV being repossessed.
We continued on the the Smoky Mountains after we parted company with our friends. We camped in Elkmount Campground inside the park and drove the Jeep to Gatlinburg and at least one quilt shop. We also did a bit of four wheeling in the Cosby area of the park and went to the Gatlinburg Harley shop. The two places that we always visit no matter where we go are the quilt shop and the Harley shop.
